DPSI follows a set pattern of fourteen years of schooling, starting with one year of Nursery (age 4+) followed by one year of Preparatory Class (Prep) and finally a total of 12 years of Secondary and Senior Secondary based on the 10+2 pattern of instructions. At the end of 10 year the students appear for the AISSE (Class X) examination, which is followed by the AISSCE (Class XII) both of which are conducted by CBSE. The medium of instruction is English. The curriculum is designed to make the children discover themselves and their environment through exploration and experimentation. It is designed to develop the rational and analytical faculties of young children.

Teaching Method

We follow a holistic approach in teaching. Class room teaching is interactive and is appropriately supported by multimedia teaching aids. Group discussions, visit by eminent guest faculties, field visits, project work, inter and intra school competition on various fields form an integral part of learning at school.

For the Final result entire year’s performance of the student both within classroom and outside the class room is considered.

Yellow card is issued to a student for any kind of discipline e.g, breaking bounds, disobedience, bullying and telling lies. The award of yellow card deprives a child of availing any privileges in the school for the week. The award of three consecutive yellow cards in a years will lead to the expulsion of the offender from the school on disciplinary grounds.
